Inspiration!!!!

I love reading Sara Mincy's blog. Looking at all her wonderful paintings has really inspired me. So, when my sister and her family bought their new home I decided to do an art project with the kids. They each painted a self-portrait for the new bathroom. I had to pull my hand away many times with the urge to make it tweek it a little bit. I'm so glad I did because I loved the end result. Their little personalities came shining through. Thanks Sara for the inspiration!!!

Familiar Faces!

When you live far away from where you grew up, it is always exciting to have family and friends visit. Pastor Mark and Connie stopped for an overnight visit while passing through town. What fun it was so talk about the 'good old days'. They had plenty of memories to share of my babysitting that I do not remember. I mean why would I stick the children in the basement to clean up their playroom for 2 hours while I watched TV???? Definately not me!!!!!
